Hamish McGlashan is a built environment professional with over 30 years industry experience. Hamish is passionate about all stages of the built environment lifecycle and has worked on all aspects; feasibility studies, strategic planning, master planning, project planning, scope of works, project brief, design brief, sketch planning, design development, documentation, tendering, contract establishment, construction, hand over, defects rectification, facilities management, essential services maintenance, programmed maintenance, reactive maintenance, refurbishment, renovation, extension, demolition, site remediation & OHS. Hamish has worked on; landscape, sporting, education, office, healthcare, industrial and domestic projects over his career. In addition, Hamish has had an extensive rowing career, Winning; School, University and National Championship events. Along the way Hamish was a member of seven Australian Rowing teams, Including two Olympic Games (Seoul 88 & Barcelona 92)and one Commonwealth Games (Edinburgh 86). While representing Australia, Hamish raced; Single Scull, Double scull, Quad Scull & Eight. Highlights included; 4th in the eight at the World Championships, 4th in the single at the Seoul Olympics and winning the Diamond Sculls at Henley Royal Regatta.
