I am an Adelaide based student, currently studying marketing and communication, with a keen interest in advertising and social media marketing. My interest in marketing is derived from my love and passion for art and design, which I’ve had from a young age. I graduated Year 12 in 2021 with an ATAR of 82.10 where I completed subjects such as Art and Design, Architecture, Graphic Design and Creative Arts across my senior years. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Marketing and Communication at the University of South Australia. During the past three years working at Drakes Supermarket as a Nightfill Assistant and temporary Third In Charge(3IC), I have gained an abundance of experience with customer service, working with brand representatives and with a team of employees where I have shown the ability to work professionally, effectively and efficiently. This experience has allowed for problem solving along the way to complete responsibilities and duties set by my superior leaders. Surrounded by popular brands, products and advertisements during my working hours has increased my interest and desire in product design and marketing. Participating in regular discussions with brand representatives regarding stock replenishment, best-selling products and what works best when providing products to customers, continues to broaden my exposure to the advertising and marketing world.My studies at university have taught me how to use professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Photoshop, skills used in digital marketing which I plan on further developing. Increasing my knowledge and understanding of these skills will heighten my ability to create media and marketing online. I am enthusiastic and passionate about marketing and am ready to continue learning through real practice. I am keen to learn new roles, responsibilities and gain the knowledge of how a marketing position operates in the real world. In my spare time I like to participate in team sports such as AFL and Cricket. I enjoy travelling, camping and maintaining my wellbeing, health and fitness. I have a strong interest in music and creating visual art.
