Responsible for launching and managing an innovative international money transfer product - 'Travelex International Payments' - in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.Responsibilities include:- Local, multi-million pound P&Ls in various geographies- Marketing strategy (PPC, SEO and targeted offline) incl. managing 3rd party agencies- Delivering sustainable growth through partnerships and affiliates- Price optimisation - Creating and producing management information including: Cohort, conversion and campaign analysis- Budgeting and financial forecasting - Contract/commercial negotiation with suppliers and partners- Regular engagement with Board-level stakeholders - internally and externally- CMS use and development- Competitor analysis- Mentoring

The aim of the Foundation is to create a new generation of outstanding entrepreneurs who will play a role in Britain’s future growth and prosperity and create new market-leading businesses. The Foundation will give 25 of the UK’s brightest, entrepreneurially minded young people the opportunity to work for a year with some of the country’s leading entrepreneurs with the simple goal of creating BETTER young entrepreneurs.Having been accepted on to the program, I was placed for 12 months at Travelex and worked closely with Senior Execs including the CEO and Director of Products. Throughout the year I received training from some of the leading institutions in marketing, finances and commerce and was exposed to a wealth of talented individuals that ranged from Brent Hoberman to Lord Mervyn Davies of Abersoch, Herman Houser to Sir Nigel Rudd DL.Goal: The continued development of my commercial acumen and understanding of business operations at the most senior level.After only 6 months of being placed at Travelex I was offered a permanent position and a chance to develop 'intrepreneurial' skills in launching an running a new consumer-facing money transfer product: Travelex International Payments
