I am an innovator in power electronics. I have great skills in converter design coupled with the digital control and design of power electronic converters for grid connection, traction and transitioning to an electrified world. Long experience and deep expertise in delivering power converters and power converter control systems. My core competencies include analog design, power conversion, electronics, SoC, FPGA, and DSP. I am hands on and love working in the lab. I am also capable of providing technical leadership and mentoring for young and not so young engineers. I also contribute to the industry standards and research as a member of , the IEEE Technical Committee on Field Programmable Technology, and an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the University of Canterbury. My mission is to make the best digitally controlled power electronics control solutions for power electronics and help innovation in, high voltage power electronics, digital control know-how for power control products, and power controllers for renewable generation, battery energy storage systems, microgrids, power grid stability and power quality. I have HIL and RTDS know how with Opal, Typhoon and RTDS. I also have used TINA, PSSE, PSCAD, VTECAP, Matlab, Simulink, Plecs and all kinds of Spice. .
