About Hamish Thompson

I am an experienced PR practitioner. My superpower is the application of lateral thinking to find creative solutions to difficult communications challenges. If you’d like examples, just let me know.I have thirty years' experience, working with Boards and senior management teams, in-house for FTSE-100 businesses and as founder and managing director of a multi-award-winning consultancy serving an international client base. I sold my consultancy to private equity investors in 2019.I have advised CEOs, CFOs, marketing directors and corporate affairs directors at more than 100 businesses and organisations worldwide, many of them household names. I have also advised public figures.I specialise in the delivery of purposeful, high impact communications programmes that reset the relationship between brands and their audiences and markets. My objective is to enable my clients to be heard, rather than part of the herd.I have lectured and written extensively on communications strategy and I am a regular commentator on brand strategy on television, radio and in national and international papers and journals.
