ALL SUPERVISED BY A PARAMEDIC PRACTICE EDUCATOR:- Attending emergency ambulance calls with a paramedic mentor and crewmate.- Taking detailed patient history- Recognising time-critical patients, interventions required and deciding on transport priority- Enhanced patient assessment for non time-critical patients-Discharging and referring patients when appropriate- Wound care, IV and IO cannulation, IM injections, nebuliser administration, medical gases, direct laryngoscopy, supraglottic airway insertion, ET Intubation (in theatres), airway suctioning, manual defibrillation and trauma adjuncts.- Interprofessional medical handover- Keeping accurate patient records and maintaining data protection protocols- Professional reflective practice

Assisting customers in finding the right product for their activityGiving advice on different products and equipmentOrganising stockProcessing customer orders over the phone and in person using store databaseServing customers at the tills

- Receiving 999 ambulance calls- Triaging calls and providing relevant instructions before ambulance arrival using ProQA and MPDS- Locating calls using interrogation and Gazetteer mapping software- Logging call details on CommandPoint software- Passing calls to outer county or international ambulance services- Coordinating with Police and Fire services- Passing hospital Pre-Alerts for time-critical patients- Checking on Ambulance crews welfare- Trained on AVAYA telephone system and ICCS and ISSI radio systems

- Receiving lorries, deliveries and organising stock in and out of the loading bay- Organising and date-rotating all stock in cold rooms and backstage areas- Liaising with third party stakeholders and outside contractors- Operating scissor lifts, tail lifts, industrial bailers and pump trucks- Personally in charge of managing the stores Consumables budget- Opening and closing the store, ensuring shop floor and backstage areas are safe for customers and staff- Building and fixing various shop floor equipment- Assisting with evacuation and safety checks during emergencies
