I am glad to share that I have started working as a Fellowship Director at Human Nature Projects (HNP) Ontario, Canada. HNP is a federally registered, non-profit organization seeking to raise awareness about current environmental issues. It’s primary objective is to drive impactful environmental change in Ontario and beyond, with a specific focus on countries most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.This fellowship is a transformative program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to make a tangible impact in the lives of Canadian Indigenous people and communities. Through mentorship and education, participants will learn about environmental issues impacting Canadian Indigenous communities and how these adversely impact physical and mental health. As a Fellowship Director, I will be overseeing all kinds of work, such as research, finance, marketing, and fellowship operations. I will be leading a team of young and enthusiastic students. I am the only foreigner associated with this team and organization. So, definitely, this experience is going to be very impactful and will bring about so many learnings and positive impacts.
