Participate with operations and maintenance in the troubleshooting and resolution of process/equipment problems.Evaluate equipment failures and consequences using formal Root Cause Analysis to develop appropriate corrective actions, controls and training to eliminate/mitigate potential failures.Lead cross-functional teams to ensure product and process quality as issues arise.Analyze asset performance and make recommendations for improvement.Lead design changes to improve asset performance.Communicate recommendations to leadership, production and maintenance.Develop, plan and execute asset improvement projects.Remain fluent and up to date on new developments in processes, product, equipment and technologies for the manufacturing and processing of Steel.
