• At Browsium, I helped build a high-performing engineering team.
• Led the architecture and design of the “Proton” product since inception: Proton is an analytics system for web usage in the company, handling millions of data points and providing real-time reports using a custom SPA

• At Mayor Wilson, I owned a large project for a pharmaceutical client.
• System consisted of health record system (designed to scale up to 10 million users), an iPhone app, an iPad app; hosted on a private cloud using OpenStack to keep sensitive health data in Canada
• Hired and managed teams of full-stack engineers, devops engineers, QA engineers, and UX engineers
• Used scrum/agile development processes to iterate quickly based on changing market conditions

• I was an engineer, then manager, on the Windows Live team, where I worked on large-scale distributed systems backing Hotmail and Messenger. Key feature areas included:
• Geo-locating ~1 billion user accounts between multiple data centres
• Building and scaling the Windows Live newsfeed to ~100 million users
• Using SSIS and SSRS to analyze performance data and come up with projections
• Data-mining MSN Messenger contacts data to construct social graph
• Managed a team of 8 engineers: mentoring, coaching, and hiring engineers, writing performance reviews, etc.
