Technology is the closest thing I know to magic. Every day, I get to work with incredible engineering and design wizards, and my proudest days are when we launch something valuable into the world. I want to harness that magic for the greater good. I spent my early career in the nonprofit sector, raising millions of dollars for youth and environmental organizations, teaching high school students in Pakistan, and advancing sustainability initiatives. I’ve since transitioned to product management, diving deep into technical topics and leading teams of engineers to create and launch new consumer products at Amazon, while creating my own tech invention (an AI Cat Door) on the side. I’ve also remained active in my support for social causes, and was a founding member of Amazon Employees for Climate Justice.Throughout my career, I’ve been at my best when I’m bridging disciplines to bring new solutions to complex problems, cultivating leadership support for important initiatives, and applying new skills - most recently voice ML, mobile development, and computer vision - in challenging, fast-paced environments.I’m always interested in applying technology to solve important problems.
