Hammed brings over 18 years of experience in urban and small-town water supply and sanitation projects including water utility technical, engineering and management. Expertise cut across areas such as water resources assessment and management; utility technical review; project planning, design, and construction management; operation and maintenance(O&M); Asset Maintenance Management (AMM); capacity building and institutional strengthening.He received a Degree in Water Resources Management and Agricultural Meteorology from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria in July 2003 and have attended several courses on water supply and sanitation project management. As a Water supply and Sanitation Engineer, with a private sector background and experienced in projects funded by international Donors such as European Union and USAID have coordinated activities that aim at strengthening the capability of water utility personnel, manpower of project counterparts, and key stakeholders to effectively prioritize, deliver and operationalize sustainable and equitable development of water supply and sanitation infrastructure and successfully led the planning, design and implementation of water supply and sanitation projects and provided result based technical and engineering leadership for the construction and rehabilitation of water supply and sanitation infrastructure. Highly experience in water supply and sanitation management, water utility asset maintenance management, operation and maintenance (O&M) from water sources through collection systems, storage, and water treatment and distribution networks to taps. He is experienced in developing Non-Revenue Water Management Reduction strategies, and Performance Improvement Plans including their implementation and monitoring against targets and very knowledgeable in different urban sanitation solutions such as fecal sludge management initiative, City and Town-Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CTWIS) and Market – Base Initiative.
