Established Test Automation for Milestone R&D, Support and Sustaining Engineering.Built and ran teams in both Denmark and Bulgaria. Together, we designed, developed and maintained an approach to test automation centered on Microsoft Windows and covering multiple platforms with a programming model broken down to 3 well-defined layers. Operated the infrastructure based on virtualization of test machines and checkpointing/snapshotting technology in close collaboration with Internal IT.

Part of the leadership of the Dynamics NAV R&D as one of two architects responsible for user interface, modeling, the C/AL programming language, the ERP application, the localization, test, and upgrade of it.External presentations at conferences, executive briefings, product release roadshows, and university collaboration.We critically improved the NAV development organization, internal collaboration, development processes and infrastructure, and project predictibility, and reestablished Dynamics NAV as a success by proving Microsoft's commitment to the product thru several important releases.I conceived and drove the implementation of the NAV testability features based on established test automation approaches. These both increased the quality of the recent product release, NAV 2013, to an extent recognized as significant by the market, and allow the NAV eco-system of partners to automate test of their own customizations and add-ons. Received an Engineering excellence Award for this work.I conceived and drove the development and implementation of an internal tool for handling concurrent development of multiple country versions of NAV based on a uniform model infrastructure and a generic model for n-way customization stemming from the MBF project.

Member of the architectural leadership of the Microsoft Business Framework (MBF) reporting directly to the general manager. Lead/coordinated teams across multiple geographies, received a collaboration award.Site architect for the Danish part of MBF responsible for the architecture of UI, support for design patterns, metamodelling and design tools.Roadshows, mentoring, university collaboration.The Microsoft Dynamics NAV Role-tailored business client stem from this project.Pieces of modeling infrastructure from MBF are now part of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Responsible for architecture and design of the next generation of ERP development platform from Navision.Succesfully headed a department of 12 people including software engineers, technical writers, and user experience designers with very high manager scores.We designed and built - a functioning two-layered architecture for both module implementation and SOA-style systems integration based on configurable elements and robust document exchange, - a model centric architecture featuring a rich, task oriented interaction, which supported changing pc and/or end-user during the execution of a multi-step task and contained generation of linguisticly correct sentences with very little translation effort, - a live demonstration at the public presentation of the fiscal results in fall of 2000, which showed integration between Navision, SAP, a WAP based mobile phone, and newly developed modules based on the new architecture, - a prototype hosted ERP for DK electricians and plumbers in cooporation with their association, then called ELFO.

Key to the development of Navigator Financials, released first time in 1995. Developed model and runtime engine for the Windows based user interface for the product. Day-to-day lead of smaller project groups. Big influence on introduction of object orientation and the overall product design.Navigator Financials, later Navision Financials, now Microsoft Dynamics NAV, became a huge international success and has more than 1 million users in more than 94.000 companies across more than 40 countries
