• Performed hydrogeological investigation including estimates of construction and post-construction rates, water balance analysis, and Low Impact Development (LID) measures for single and multi-phased commercial (e.g. strip malls, industrial facilities, etc) and residential development (e.g. condominium towers and subdivisions) across southern Ontario to support permits to take water (PTTW/EASR) applications. • Coordination of field sampling and activities, and monitoring of ongoing dewatering projects.

• Construction and Calibration of a 3 D groundwater flow model with the United States Geological Survey's (USGS's) MODFLOW family of codes, using the graphical user interface (GUI) Groundwater Vistas. Calibration involved matching observed groundwater heads of wells in the vicinity of the site to the simulated head values based on physical boundary conditions, surface geology, and hydraulic conductivities observed at the site. • Performed steady-state and transient pumping simulations to investigate the size of capture zone and the sensitivity of boundary conditions responding to pumpage.Using the particle tracking program, MODPATH, which works in conjunction with MODFLOW, performed particle tracking simulations as an additional check of model performance by comparing the results with the observed orientation of a plume located on the Site.• Created VBA scripts in MS EXCEL and Fortran codes to aid in surface and boundary adjustments and to create input files for the Groundwater Vistas GUI. • Used PEST to optimize model input parameters and conduct sensitivity analysis
