As Min Doktor became Docly I had the opportunity to take on the role as CTO. In a streamlined team that means that I'm managing a team of 15-20 engineers, designers and product owners, as well as serving as the person in the executive group that holds responsibility for the technical aspects of the business.I work with our team of engineers and business people to ensure that we have a technical platform that is able to meet the demands of the business. Digital healthcare is an exciting and fast-moving industry, and our technology, methodology, and team has to be ready for swift turns and rapid accelerations - which requires us to have a lot of trust in each other. That trust lets us put our effort where it is needed most, in the constellation that will give the most effect.A big part of my job is talent acquisition and retention and I coordinate the work of setting a road towards our future technological advantages. We keep a keen eye on competitors, markets, trends and general development of technology to find the intersections and innovations where our technology can make a real difference for our users.

I came on the Min Doktor team at the beginning of the first spike in it's growth. It was a wonderful team with a lot of excitement, joy and though decisions. We made an early be on React Native as we pushed to become the first online doctor in Sweden to enable patients to consult a doctor via chat, no matter their location. At the same time we had to rebuild a lot of the Golang backend to accommodate for the new features required by the business.I mainly worked with a team on the client side of the patient facing service. We used React Native, React, Flow, Redux and a slew of other tools to build a developer experience that allowed us to be fast and agile in delivering value to our users.

As a manager for a group of 10-15 engineers at Apsis, my responsibilities included people management, team management, project management as well as the responsibilities as acting Lead Software Engineer. We tackled some hard technical problems in a dated environment which made it hard for technology to be responsive to the needs of the business. The biggest accomplishment we had during my time as Apsis was to start leading for change, and start a journey that took the company from a previously great enterprise to a once-again great company. While I can't claim having had more than a small part in that journey, it's something that I'm proud of nonetheless.Worked with Softhouse consulting to become a certified agile coach.

I was the lead developer on the team and worked to setup, evangelize, and support the technical stack within our group of engineers. The service was unholy mix of PHP, ASP and jQuery when I came on-board. Together with the team I managed to realise a journey of change to a modern stack that could be adopted across the company.
