In my 5th grade report card, my schoolteacher wrote “Daydreams a lot.” I took the report card to my irate parents, beaming with pride. I was baffled why daydreaming could be considered bad! ➡️ It helps me simplify the complex. ➡️ It helps me problem-solve in a completely relaxed state, no matter the chaos around me. ➡️ It helps me tune out the noise. There's research linking daydreaming to workplace creativity which is a nice validation for 10-yr old me. These days I use creativity to grow business using digital marketing. 💡There are 10,000,000 digital marketers on LinkedIn. Why does my voice matter? Perspective. 🔍 I started my career with digital marketing at Google. It is the first lens I ever wore and I never quite took it off. I’m fluent in digital jargon (CPC, CPL, CTR, CR, it’s a long list). More importantly, I speak jargon-lessly (increase revenue, get business outcomes and build brand). 🔍 I’m industry-agnostic and can immerse myself in any vertical. 3 years ago, I couldn’t tell you the difference between stocks and securities. Today, I speak fluent investment-bro. 🔍 I spent a decade coaching C-suite executives in different styles of communication, engaging audiences and building corporate reputation from ground-up. Now I use those skills to build and nurture the digital marketing arm of large organizations. 🔍 I’ve been an IC and managed a team.
