I am a dedicated mechanical engineering professional, currently serving as a Lecturer at GIK Institute, Pakistan. I hold a Master’s degree from the same institute with a specialization in thermofluids. My academic journey has equipped me with a robust foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of fluid dynamics and heat transfer, with expertise in simulation tools such as Aspen Plus and COMSOL Multiphysics.During my graduate studies, I focused on developing innovative paper-based microfluidics systems, particularly for food quality testing and environmental monitoring. My master’s thesis centered on optimizing liquid movement within microchannels, contributing to practical solutions for real-world problems. I was honored to work on a project funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, titled “Starting Actuation of a High-Resolution Flexible Time-Temperature Indicator (FTTI) for Food Quality Control.” This project led to the development of a cost-effective time-temperature indicator to monitor perishable food aimed at minimizing food spoilage and ensuring quality.In addition to my academic research, I collaborated on an industrial project at DG Khan Cement, where I designed and analyzed a waste heat recovery unit using the organic Rankine cycle, integrated with vapor absorption refrigeration—demonstrating my ability to bridge academia with industrial applications.Currently, I am eager to expand my academic and research horizons by pursuing a Ph.D in thermofluids/microfluidics
