• Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements (with EBITDA up to $100M), providing financial assistance to private equity investors and asset-based lenders.• Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies.• Analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks, which impact valuation, and negotiation of the target company.• Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, achievability of management’s budget, indebtedness considerations, operations analyses, and/or business combinations.

• Primary preparer of external financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Form-4, etc.), including XBRL tagging review.• Assist in researching and documenting complex accounting issues primarily pertaining to purchase price accounting.• Research and prepare various memos and journal entries pertaining to an acquisition that doubled the Company in size and the associated debt transactions (new debt and restructuring of existing debt). • Prepare and effectively communicate financial statement fluctuations pertaining to current year/quarter vs. prior year/quarter and budget vs. forecast, while identifying root causes for variances and resolution of issues.• Conduct year/quarter/month end close activities including the preparation and review of journal entries, variance analysis & commentary, internal financial statements, and the monthly reporting package.
