About Hamza Haider

The ginger bearded guy who makes sustainability exciting.Having studied across New York, London, Abu Dhabi and Singapore, I have worked closely with upcycling plastic at the intersection of design, sustainability and innovation.I am currently leading the team at RePlaste, a sustainable material design startup, operating across Abu Dhabi, UAE & Lahore, Pakistan. We see our Sapor™️, a 100% recycled & 100% recyclable plastic composite, sheets as a circular alternative to wood, ceramics, marble and mdf.Learnt more outside the classroom than inside it. We see our Sapor™️, a 100% recycled & 100% recyclable plastic, sheets as a circular alternative to wood, ceramics, marble and mdf.Collaborated with/for Adidas, Etihad Airways, Dubai Expo 2020, Sharjah Architecture Triennial. RePlaste collaborated with Etihad Airways at their Dubai Air Show booth and made 100 stools for Adidas Shanghai from post-consumer plastic. We were a part of Pakistan Pavilion at EXPO 2020 and our NUstool was chosen as part of the inaugural Sharjah Architecture Triennial Design Store collection.
