Current• Inbound Operations: Manage and oversee inbound shipments, inventory management, and put-away tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations.• Systems & Analytics: Implement and manage scanning systems, warehouse management systems, and generate detailed reports and analytics to drive data-backed decision-making.• Cross-Docking & Compliance: Spearheaded the introduction of cross-docking, ensuring adherence to documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement practices.• Supply Chain Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory turns, accurately forecast, and manage receipts and shipments.• Operational Process Optimization: Continuously review and improve operational processes for increased efficiency, compliance, and productivity.• Employee Development & Leadership: Provide coaching, mentoring, and cross-training to develop personnel, ensuring there are trained backups and successors for key positions.• KPI Monitoring: Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, success rates, and areas requiring improvement.• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and "tour ready" warehouse environment, while ensuring security protocols are adhered to at all times.Achievements & Key Projects:• Smart Fulfillment Center: Successfully planned and deployed the company’s first Smart Fulfilment Center in Karachi, Pakistan, introducing innovative technology and automation to improve efficiency.• Real-time Weighing Scales: Led the deployment of real-time database-connected weighing scales to ensure accurate inventory weight measurements, improving overall accuracy and reducing global shipping costs to the customers. • Environment Safety & Renewable Energy Initiative: Leading the Environment Safety and Solar Energy Project, promoting sustainability and enhancing safety measures within warehouse operations.
