Responsibilities and projects include: • SCM / Inventory management across all Black Sheep establishments. Categories include utilities, materials (hotel ware, kitchen equipment etc.), food, beverage, and packaging. Managing 100+ suppliers and vendors across all categories.• Procurement (Sourcing, tendering and contract management) of IT systems (Cloud ERP systems such as Procure-to-pay systems, Inventory Management Systems, Accounting systems, POS systems and IoT systems such as Temperature-Humidity monitoring systems) from external vendors / SaaS providers. • Implementation and integration of procured systems across all Black Sheep establishments. • Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all functional specifications, validating functionality and user experience to ensure optimal performance and address any issues timely before going live. • Liaising with restaurants’ operations teams, group finance department, logistics management team, suppliers and system vendor support to understand, gather and document business requirements, model business processes to implement systems and to identify improvements. • Providing continuous training, user account management and primary day-to-day operational support including system configuration and troubleshooting to 150+ end users across all Black Sheep establishments.• Developing, maintaining and monitoring all aspects of the projects' progress and effectively communicating with relevant stakeholders.• Reporting (purchasing and sales data) to identify and implement cost cutting and strategic sourcing measures.

• Scheduling and tracking shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper handling of goods.• Loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.• Preparing and processing shipping documents such as invoices and delivery notes.

• STEM Intern at the Department of Mathematics. • Computational Fluid Dynamics.• Project manager and lead in a team of 3 for the development of a PDE Solver using Python.• Solving the 2D Navier-Stokes equations using the finite difference method for single-phase laminar flow.

• STEM Intern at the Department of Physics. • AI in Immunohistochemistry. • Project coordinator and contributor in a team of 5.• Developed a project focused on machine learning methods and computer vision to examine images of potentially cancerous human cells (Image Classification) using Python. • Identified over 50 samples of human cells successfully using the projects developed during the internship.

• Working in the Animal Lab. • Application of best practices in regards to lab management, lab equipment inventory management, lab animal management and care (feed and bedding). • Conducted literature research on the effects of lithium on the brain in relation to bipolar disorder.• Conducted experiments on animal subjects (mice) by dosing them with lithium and observing changes in their brain chemistry using advanced spectroscopy techniques (Laser- Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) in a team of 3 post graduate researchers.

• Founded an ethnic and cultural club at the university as a means to help new internationals assimilate into Hong Kong and for representation and networking.• Organized events such as dinners, hikes and barbeques.• Successfully proposed and gained funding by CityU (~15000 HKD) for SIP (Student Initiated Project) event “Pakistan Night” for networking and to showcase the culture to other communities, through food stalls and art performances. • Represented the Pakistani community at international events such as Global Festival Night / Food and Culture Stall.
