Worked in the Road Transport Division at Raaziq. My hiring was a part of the management overhauling process at the company. The objective of the said hiring was to include a professional capable to inculcate and embed transparency and accountability in the financial and operational process flow of the division alongside building and mentoring a Finance team that is aligned with the overall company’s objectives.Key responsibilities:• Understanding the modalities and intricacies of the Road Transport business / Fleet Management and thereby developing and implementing documentation to ensure financial recording and efficient operational execution of the complete trip cycles.• After devising and implementing a start to end procedural paper/audit trail, collecting and analyzing the data to highlight financial and operational deficiencies and to develop further guidelines to minimize or eradicate the said shortcomings alongside management reporting of the same.• Once the above mentioned manual process flows and audit checks are completely embedded in the day to day working of personnel, taking the same procedures and guidelines and graduating from manual procedures to an all inclusive ERP system after detailed discussions and step by step introduction of the various finance and operations related software modules designed on the same principles and self checks as manually embedded. • Primary liaison between Finance and Operations (Road Operations, Vehicle Tracking team, Workshop and Stores department, Human Resources) and taking into account all feedback and practical limitations before devising and ensuring implementation of transparent and efficient controls along with step by step operational process flows embedded with various auditable checks. After ensuring documentation and recording of the complete business loop, devising various management reporting mechanisms and their respective timelines for effective and accurate financial reporting.
