My Journey in the World of CybersecurityHello! I’m Hamza Al-Smadi, a student in the field of cybersecurity,Student at Yarmouk University,in the College of Information Technology and Computer Science, and I consider myself passionate about securing and protecting information in a rapidly evolving world. I have always been fascinated by technology, but I had a unique experience that drove me to delve into this field. When I was in high school, my family fell victim to a sensitive information theft online. That experience was incredibly painful and instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to protect data and information.In addition I possess strong analytical skills, enabling me to think critically and creatively to devise innovative solutions to complex problems. I am particularly adept at conducting risk assessments and formulating robust security policies tailored to meet the unique needs of each organization.Throughout my studies, I have gained extensive experience in many foundational skills in cybersecurity. I have mastered vulnerability analysis, developed strategies to protect networks, and used tools like Wireshark and Metasploit. Additionally, I have conducted hands-on training in penetration testing in real environments, where I honed my skills in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.I have participated in several university projects that reflect my passion for cybersecurity. One of these projects involved designing a security system for a local organization, where I assessed vulnerabilities and provided solutions to enhance protection. Through these experiences, I learned the importance of collaboration and teamwork, as well as how to communicate effectively with colleagues to understand risks and develop appropriate solutions.Through years of hard work and learning, I have achieved multiple victories. I have obtained recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and I have attended national conferences on cybersecurity,I have programming skills in Python, PHP, MySQL, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript,I have experience with Kali Linux and Windows operating systems. where I networked with experts in the field.I aspire to be part of the cybersecurity industry, where I can contribute to data protection and securing valuable information.
