I am an accounting student and an aspiring CPA enrolled at the prestigious University of Texas at Dallas as a transfer student. My academics have centered around accounting, providing me with a strong base in essential financial and managerial accounting and tax concepts. Accounting demands an understanding of numbers and equations, along with a passion for solving problems and attention to detail, I’ve always found joy in delving into the specifics, especially when it leads to discovering an answer. My journey as a student at Austin Community College gave me a strong foundation in subjects such as micro and macroeconomics, business calculus, public speaking, business computer applications, and accounting. Here, I worked on multiple projects that bolstered my Excel proficiency and refined my skills in managing and deciphering large datasets. These experiences have significantly enhanced my analytical skills and prepared me for in-depth financial examinations. My experience extends beyond classroom learning into the practical realm, notably holding a position as a team associate at Walmart. This role helped me in honing my customer service skills, teamwork abilities, and problem-solving acumen. Working in a dynamic retail environment has ingrained in me the values of time management and adaptability, which I am eager to transfer to the accounting sector.Anticipating my graduation in May 2026, I am actively seeking internship opportunities that match my skills and significantly benefit the company’s goals. I aim to use my accounting education further to develop my professional skills and personal growth. I can be reached anytime via email: hamzaaly5000@gmail.com
