Field engineering internship with the fracturing team.Training at Schlumberger provided me with a great opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of quality assurance and quality control. Taking initiatives and closely monitoring operations, I was able to detect faults early on and to take preventive and corrective action leading to my assignment of all subsequent QA/QC procedures.• Ensured that the final chemical product has passed the QA/QC benchmark of Aramco by calculating the iron content of acids, testing the viscosity of polymers, and verifying the PH levels • Detected problems with certain samples while conducting QA/QC checks, which prevented further complications and led to the assignment of all subsequent QA/QC procedures • Mixed chemicals, organized the finished product and maintained the quantity count as stated in the mixing guidelines • Maintained the pipe and oil level of the pumping equipment prior to the pumping phase for smooth and safe operations
