- Defining quality standards and metrics for the current project/product- Develop / Review Software Testing Strategies- Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criteria to check the quality on a timely basis- Defining processes for the test plan and several phases of the testing cycle- Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, etc. are getting covered- Provide input into improving the Automation test framework for the organization- Define automated test criteria using ROI to determine which functionalities should be automated- Maintaining cordial relationships between cross-functional teams like development, program management, product managers, etc.- Reviewing status reports from team members and taking appropriate actions accordingly- Sending crisp and clear status reports to the higher management- Creating and defining risks and issues with mitigation plans- Support team members in using all kinds of Testing tools

- Executing Automation scripts to maintain the quality of our product- Develops automated test scripts for new features based on acceptance criteria and user stories during each development Sprint- Creating maintenance plans for Existing Automation scripts- Provide input into improving the Automation test framework for the organization- Define automated test criteria to be used to determine which functionality should be automated- Develop automated test for all functionality that meets the specified automation criteria- Implement builds on variant DB vendors (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and variant Application Servers (Websphere 7.0, Oracle Weblogic 11, Weblogic 12c, Tomcat 6)- Designing Test automation framework- Consider test domain and specifications and distinguish edges and critical points- Identifying and tracking failures and missing requirements- Analyze major functionalities of the system and determine the suitable test type to implement- Examine GUI common principles and standards in the systems- Validate the integration between the modules in the system- Communicate with other teams in order to ease work- Conduct meetings with customers to go through Acceptance testing- Participate in Training sessions for new employees and to share knowledge of a new feature/module with other colleagues- Participate in estimation, Test Plans, and possible test cases with testers- Participate in root-cause analysis of defects
