Changing livesIn February 2010 resigned my job in HRD, followed my girlfriend and emigrated together to the UK from The Netherlands. The first 1,5 years spending on the Isle of Man and in the South of England working as a couple on horse yards. In the South we worked at the yard of a former olympic rider and took care of about 40 horses. My specific work was the daily care of 20 horses (foals, 2-3 years old, breeding mares), being grounds man and doing gardening. In July 2011 we started working on a 1.2 square miles working private estate in North Yorkshire. Taking care of the hunting horses. Before the first hunting season started we had to (re)built the stables, built a wash room, solarium, tack room, hay barn and horse walker.
