Han completed his Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture (Hons) at the University of New South Wales. As a landscape architect, Han combines a strong sense of design, innovative thinking, attention to detail, clear communication, and interpersonal skills in professional relationships. His work is pragmatic, bold and emphasises human-centred design. He is passionate about bringing human experience and scale to the forefront of landscape design. He believes that a good landscape design can promote social interaction and transform our cities into a more diverse, inclusive, and engaging environment. Han has worked across a broad range of project typologies and scales. He has involved in all phases of a project from concept design through to implementation. With each project, he seeks to create public spaces that facilitate sustainable connections between people and place. His strong belief in the value of a ‘human-centred’ design approach means he keeps the community he is designing for at the heart of the design process.Han is also a strong advocate for evidence-based design. He has always enjoyed the challenge of a problem and logically working through it to resolution. He thrives on creating landscapes that benefit client project outcomes, the urban environment and the people who experience it.
