- Locating and determining the geometry of potential tsunami source-faults in the southern Sea of Japan using extensive 2D seismic reflection data (with Petrel) for further hazard-assessment. Other responsibilities.
- Supervision of M.Sc. students (M.Sc. and special projects): project design, guidance, and editing and reviewing theses and manuscripts.
- Give technical talks at major international geoscience conferences (e.g., EGU, JpGU) and companies (e.g., Schlumberger).
