Led a flagship project commissioned by GIZ in support of Sino-German Biodiversity Cooperation within the Sino-German Environment Partnership II in the context of CBD and Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. The project involves multiple stakeholders as well as political and technical partners across three countries: China, the UK and Germany. I set up proactive and pragmatic approaches to facilitate constructive discussions among all engaged parties, which has proven to be effective to ensure the project's timely delivery via overcoming barriers led by cultural differences.4. Developed a new partnership with China's Shenzhen Municipality for supporting Shenzhen to explore how the values of nature can be integrated into their policy and practice for the management of natural resources. This will help to reveal the full values of nature in the city, the many benefits it provides to residents, and the range of economic activity that naturalresources in the city support.

Under this capacity, I led the development and delivery of an impactful portfolio of UNEP-WCMC's work in and with China; developed a diverse range of partnership with both public and private sector stakeholders; and established the structure of an operational mechanism (WCMC Beijing) for UNEP-WCMC's projects in China.My major achievements include:1. Led the development, conceptual design and delivery of the China components under UNEP-WCMC's flagship development projects, incl. China Business and Biodiversity Partnership (138K USD), Trade Hub (26m USD), Development Corridors Partnership (6m USD), Global Infrastructure Modelling and Mapping (0.6m USD), Chengdu cities project (28,200 USD), Sino-German Biodiversity Cooperation within the Sino-German Environment Partnership II (1.2m USD).5. Established strategic partnerships with influential public and private sector stakeholders in China to provide tailored support for their decision-making process to effectively integrate biodiversity.6. Set up the operational structure for UNEP-WCMC's projects in China through the establishment of a legal entity in Beijing (WCMC Beijing Co., LTD).
