I am a passionate Early Childhood Educator, Researcher, and Community Advocate who can be found inside a classroom interacting with young minds or in a community volunteering and promoting causes that are dear to my heart and my community. As an educator, my experience and my journey extend beyond my classroom. In addition to my teaching assignments, my passion includes promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion programs for the schools, the students, and the staff. I also had been tasked as a teacher leader leading and coaching a group of counterpart teachers on closing the education equity gap among the students on the campus that I served and improve overall intsAs an advocate, I use my voice and my service to uplift and amplify others, especially those within marginalized and/or underserved communities. My advocacy platforms and works include the restoration of democracy in Myanmar, equal rights for LGBTQIA+ community, youth leadership development, and community development.As a researcher, my interest includes two primary focuses: early childhood education and early learning and refugee education of Burmese diaspora and Burmese community in exile.
