In my role as the Senior Coordinator of Residence Life, I hold a multifaceted leadership position that entails direct oversight of crucial responsibilities. First and foremost, I manage the Mercury system, ensuring its seamless integration with Residence Life functions. This includes optimizing our room assignment system for over 1300 undergraduate and graduate students, streamlining the room allocation process to better meet their needs and preferences. I also lead the development of comprehensive policies and guidelines related to room assignments, reassignments, special accommodations, and student notification and billing.Furthermore, I take the lead in organizing both formal and ongoing departmental training sessions and meetings, equipping our dedicated staff with essential skills and knowledge to collectively elevate our service standards. Additionally, I focus on the administrative aspects of departmental processes, ensuring the precision of records and the streamlining of workflows, particularly in student worker personnel change processes. Lastly, my active participation in various university committees, task forces, and search committees allows me to contribute my insights and leadership to shape and influence policies and initiatives across the campus. Moreover, I serve as a mentor and supervisor for interns within the Residence Life department, offering guidance and invaluable training sessions that not only enhance their professional development but also bolster the cohesion and effectiveness of our team.

As a Residence Life Coordinator, my primary focus was on personal development, both for students and myself.
