At First Slavic Magnet High School, I design curricula and teach courses in European and U.S. History, Diplomacy and International Relations, and English to a diverse student population of Czech and international students in grades 9 - 12.I additionally serve as Language Department Co-Chair, which involves overseeing and tracking language requirements, proctoring classes, leading meetings, and advising a group of 12 teachers. In these dual roles, I: -Create entirely new curriculum and lessons with clearly defined objectives and performance measures directly aligned to grade-level standards.-Oversee administration, proctoring and scoring of senior baccalaureate exam, including the oral portion of exam. I also counsel students on test preparation.-Incorporate clear academic goals, interventions, and accommodations. I work with students to devise their own goals and support them with proven strategies.-Create a positive, respectful classroom environment, ensuring adherence to rules of conduct while maintaining an open, friendly, calm, professional demeanor.-Use data-driven instructional methods, analyzing results to define gaps and effectiveness of teaching methodologies. -Differentiate instruction and align the curriculum through whole class, small group and individual classroom and web-based learning strategies. -Actively involve students in goal-setting, plans for accomplishment. -Foster and maintain productive relationships with administrators, parents, and peers to build synchronized programs and cohesive support systems for our students.-Effectively utilize SmartBoard and other technology to create interactive content for students, maximizing retention, attention span and student involvement.

An accomplished opera singer (coloratura soprano), I grew up in Prague performing solos with the renowned Czech Philharmonic Children’s Choir, which sparked my passion for singing. I initiated my musical training with years of piano lessons, transitioning into classical voice with the acclaimed Jirina Markova at the Prague Conservatory. I have performed all over the world in a variety of roles and I have been lauded for my sparkling agile top and warm timbre.

I co-founded and launched a successful opera company consisting of professional singers, music and stage directors, and orchestra players, devoted to bringing immersive opera experiences in unique venues to audiences in Ventura County, California.Since 2015, the company has produced 2 fully-staged operas: Bellini's La Sonnambula in November 2016 and Donizetti's Anna Bolena in 2017.As Producer, I was responsible for hiring and managing orchestra players, opera singers, and directors, as well as directing our marketing efforts, PR, donor base building, and fundraising activities.

At the Anglo-American College in Prague, I designed and delivered creative, engaging curricula for undergraduate students. I have created engaging curricula that immersed students in the multifaceted world of international relations.I designed thought-provoking syllabi that cover core IR theories, from realism and liberalism to constructivism and critical approachesI Lectured on complex global issues, geopolitics, diplomacy, and conflict resolution to students and assigned relevant case studies that allow students to apply theoretical frameworks to real-world events. I also facilitated dynamic discussions that encourage diverse perspectives on international affairs.

At the the Institute of International Relations Prague (IIR), a leading independent public/academic research institution for the study of international relations in the Czech Republic, I was an active member of several international research networks, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.I also served as assistant editor of the bi-annual peer-reviewed journal Perspectives, published in English, focusing on international relations issues.
