Support senior staff in the development of site geology (structure, stratigraphy, reservoir profile), flow and transport modeling (analytical and numerical), and area of review (oil and gas well completion and plugging history), for various projects in primarily in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Prepare and support environmental permit applications submitted to State and Federal agencies. Provide support of well drilling, construction, and testing; perform geophysical logging surveys.

Provided support of well development, installation, completion, and testing. Analyzed core and constructed boring logs. Conducted transmissivity testing. Led construction over site activities and pre-construction sampling. Collected multi-media samples for remediation and delineation purposes.

Performed various Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments for undeveloped parcels, commercial properties, and former industrial buildings. Completed both Phase 1 environmental assessment reports and proposals for personal site reconnaissance projects in addition to other projects around the south-southwest portion of the country.

Historical Geology, Physical Geology, Fundamentals of Earth Science, & Introduction to Environmental Science

Worked with the subsurface integration and development teams to generate a full geologic evaluation of an unconventional sand reservoir (Bonespring 3) in the Delaware Basin, Permian Basin, Texas. Created reservoir and geomechanical rock property distribution maps (isopach) including Vsand, Vclay, Vlime, PhiT, Net Pay, Net Thickness, Sw, Poisson’s Ratio, Young’s Modulus, VP/VS, and LMR—then used these maps to determine if and where we should drill or re-evaluate current horizontal sand targets across the Delaware Basin asset. By integrating production data with my opportunity maps, I, with the help of a fellow reservoir engineer intern determined economic viability of my found areas of interest.

Responsible for entering, digitizing, and re-formatting handwritten OCTG inventory, inspection, and defect description reports for clients.
