As a former Teach for America Corps Member and dedicated elementary teacher, Hana is committed to making a difference in lives through love, compassion, and persistence. In the summer of 2016, Hana followed her two passions of equality and working with children to the rewarding career of teaching after two years of completing Teach for America and her Masters in Early Childhood Education. After three years in the classroom, Hana followed another passion of Communications and Events through the nonprofit sector. Just one year in her role, Hana was promoted to Director of Events and Communications for her success and organization. In her previous roles, Hana managed budgets and contracts, planned and executed diverse events, sourced vendors and volunteers, and measured and reported data on executed events and marketing for future changes and growth. With her background in teaching paired with her experience in special events, development, and marketing, Hana has acquired technological skills and abilities to reach a wide range of donors and audiences through engaging marketing tools.Hana is devoted to working hard at and accomplishing any task that is in front of her, and will lift others up along the way. She is a strong professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused in Health Science from Maryville University and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
