Professional Canadian Corrosion, Materials and Metallurgical Executive Engineering leader, who transfers ideas into reality. Thrives to create an environment for industry-demand driven projects and bridge the gap between the industry and academia. Established new technical service department in Libya and the 1st corrosion center in Qatar. Developed, educated and trained several engineers and helped them to unlock their potential. Spent over 25 years in the industry in the Middle East and Canada, and was one of the first Arab women to conduct inspection, corrosion and materials engineering jobs, and hold technical executive positions.I am a woman rights advocate. I started the first Forum and Association for women engineering in Qatar, and in the MENA region. I am currently the Chairperson of the MENA Women in Engineering.
