I am very excited by the developments made in the solar and wind industries, drawn apart by both one may say. I have been building DIY designs of small wind turbines since 2001 (www.scoraigwind.com), which turned into professional activities during my bachelor degree in the Technion (led 18 students in building a 2.5 meter diameter in 2003-2004 for a control project under prof. Per Olof-Gutman, and also played with advanced aerodynamic codes for wind turbine blade analysing under prof. Aviv Rosen).During my bachlor degree i also worked as a PV and small wind turbine installer with Solar Power. My final project in the Technion, which i initiated, was constructing and succesfuly flying a solar powered electric UAV with a wing span of 4.2 meters. This has been further persued in the IAI with Idan Regev who ran the project with me.I finished my BS.c in 2006. I worked as a R&D engineer in cyclone for a year, developing a composite material health diagnostics technology in colaboration with the composite strength laboratory in the technion under Prof. Haim Abramowitz, and then moved on to Pythagoras solar where I worked on developing their solar concentrator panels until I decided to continue my studies and started a MS.c. in the solar energy field in Weizmann ins., under Prof. Jacob Karni and Prof. Yinon Rudich, which I finished in the end of 2009. Since 2006 I have also consulted several companies, including Precede, IQwind, Sovna and others, in the field of wind energy extraction and innovation. My goals are to find a place in the renewable energy industry, an interesting R&D position.Specialties: Matlab programing, aerodynamics, small wind turbine systems.
Listed skills include Aerodynamics, Renewable Energy, Matlab, and Wind Power.
