As a medical assistant I am responsible for the daily health needs of our students, as well as their medication management, parental communication and reporting of health concerns to parents, physicians and therapist. In emergency situations I was also responsible for escalating to the appropriate level of care. I also filled in for the Student Health Director as needed and full-filled the responsibilities of that position.

Clinical technician in a level 3 trauma center that saw 80 to 100 patients a day. Experienced in working alongside nurses, advanced practice practitioners and physicians. Played a key role in the care team for a variety of critical patients including traumas, strokes, STEMIs and septic patients.
