I have extensive experience in environmental hydrology, hydraulic and coastal engineering. I have an academic background in riverine, estuarine and coastal hydrodynamics and has applied this knowledge to numerous large engineering projects. In riverine hydraulics, my experience includes flood control, floodplain management, stormwater management, wetland restoration, sediment transport, bridge hydraulics and scour analysis, and roadway drainage.In coastal and estuarine engineering, my principal areas of interest include wave hydrodynamics, coastal sediment processes, and coastal salt marsh restoration with a strong emphasis on numerical modeling. While at University of California, Berkeley, I completed my doctorate thesis on analyzing wave processes using time series analysis. I am experienced in the analysis of coastal processes including wave hydrodynamics, storm surge analysis, wave runup analysis, tidal hydraulics, sediment processes, and mixing processes.I have also been involved in many interdisciplinary studies for wetland restoration and multi-objective river management projects, which integrated hydrology, hydraulics, geomorphology, biology, and public access issues.
