I was heavily involved in work towards the service's successful Archive Service Accreditation application including writing a collecting policy and collections development plan. On a daily basis I assisted with the day-to-day running of the archive through answering enquiries and helping users in the Wolfson Centre for Archival Research and the Heritage Research Area. I line managed a Senior Archives and Collections Assistant and was involved in a range of additional projects such as improving the archive's capacity to deal with born-digital archives, writing a fundraising strategy and writing grant applications as well as delivering workshops on research skills and on depositing community archives. I promoted the library's collections through blog posts and social media.
