HandsOff is a charity which was formed in an attempt to raise awareness of the dangers of driving whilst using a mobile phone. Although this act is illegal, millions of people still insist on doing so. We are not against mobile phones, but our aim is to educate road users of the dangers of distraction whilst on the road. As mobile phone technology continuously evolves, we feel that this is an issue that is not going to go away anytime soon. Do you drive with a mobile phone? Do you check social media sites on the roads? Preventing the use of a mobile phone in this way is a small step everybody can take to prevent needless loss of life.
