Hands Together Foundation supports children and community members to form groups and take action together to improve their living conditions by supporting groups to tackle the immediate social issues they face. Wherever Hands Together works, it identifies which people are most excluded from social opportunities and least able to claim their rights, in order to tackle the root causes of their exclusion/ marginalization. In particular, we work with women and girls, who systematically have fewer opportunities, and face more barriers, than men and boys. Which will eventually limit their children’s lives as well as their own.By listening and responding to children and communities we design and run and customized programmes ensuring that community needs are met with respect, which allows us to contribute effectively to the decisions people constantly make about their own needs of development. I am leading a project in the field of education and social work where we are searching and implementing new methods in bringing up children who have some social and emotional challenges.I am leading groups of students in cross cultural programs every year to improve their social skills and abilities to understand different cultures and to have a mentality of tolerance and accepting other cultures. I am working on building a new center for assessment in Abu Dhabi where Children with learning difficulties can be assessed and supported too with some unique educational programs.I have already finalized the concept paper for building the first Academy for gifted and talented students in Abu Dhabi soon. I am now on the process of having an agreement to build a new Academy for Music in Abu Dhabi.

Primary Responsibilities:Curriculum Development:Develop and update curriculums in cooperation with TRDC.Implementing MOE syllabus and programs of study.Monitor syllabus coverage.Approving the recommendation of the Deputy of Resources regarding the teaching aids and resources required for classes.Update teaching strategies and use of teaching aids and resources.Prepare entry exams for transfer students.Organizing monthly tests, mid and final exams.Monitor and supervise exam analysis.Staff Development:Participate in interviews for teacher selection.Provide training to new and experienced teachers.Evaluate and train staff in cooperation with TRDC.Implement teachers’ self and peer evaluation.Evaluate teachers in conjunction with Department Heads. (Visit classes, evaluate student copybooks, etc.)Supervise teachers’ methods in classroom management and in developing effective teaching strategies.Approve and revise worksheets provided by teachers.Monitor Department Head (DH) evaluations, reviews, and meetings.Monitor departmental team and critical friend group development.Participate in annual DH evaluations.Ensure staff understands their administrative, pastoral and work responsibilities.
