Hang Zhou is a Director of Software Engineering at Fluence. She possess expertise in energy, smart grid, energy markets, engineering, energy management and 21 more skills. She is proficient in English and Mandarin. Colleagues describe her as "I have worked with Jason (Hang Zhou) from 1998 to 2001 while at APX. A that time, APX was breaking new grounds in that it was brining new high-technology to the energy market. The success of the business depended on software engineers being able to learn quickly learn how the energy markets work and apply this knowledge in their craft. Jason handled this challenge with skill, perseverance and dedication. He learned everything that needed to be known about APX’s scheduling business and the APX interaction with the Independent System Operator. He was the point person for any problem that had to do with scheduling and ancillary services. On several occasions, operational problems had to be resolved within hours and Jason did not mind responding to and working with the operations desk to resolve the issue although this was not his primary responsibility as a software engineer. Jason works well in a team. He is a good mentor to those who are junior to him and can be counted on by his seniors.
