Supervised and coordinated the planning, execution, and interpretation of formation testing and fluid sampling and services in high profile exploration and development projects throughout the Western Hemisphere as well as oversee that the data gathered is of the highest quality and that maximum value is extracted from the data. FEAST includes world-renowned experts in petrophysics, reservoir engineering, thermodynamics, and geochemistry with “fluids” as the common theme.In this role, I worked on deep water and other major projects in the GOM and elsewhere around the world and ensured that the data gathered is of the highest quality and maximum value. I was also involved in several PVT analysis and fluid properties studies feeding into several integrated 3-D seismic and rock property studies. This was in addition to the log interpretation, net pay assessment, rock property modeling, and core analysis for individual wells.

Managed Schlumberger’s Data and Consulting Services business in Oman. Led a team of geoscientists to provide specialized interpretation and consulting services to customers in Oman and Pakistan. This group was also responsible for integrating the various Schlumberger answer products to deliver comprehensive solutions to customer problems. This included carrying out carbonate and fractured reservoir and multi-well studies for PDO including on the Ghaba North and Lekhwair fields. Reservoir Engineering / Production Technology Domain Champion, Schlumberger East Africa and East Mediterranean responsible for technical, interpretation, and marketing support in the areas of production logging, wireline formation testing, cement and corrosion evaluation, and pressure transient testing for the field operations and for over forty local and international clients. Also acted as project lead of:• Multi-disciplinary team aiming to optimize production from sandstone and carbonate reservoirs of the General Petroleum Company (GPC) in Egypt (over 200 wells examined, over 75 recommendations issued and implemented).• Multi-disciplinary team aiming to optimize production from the Zeit Bay field of the Suez Oil Company (SUCO), Egypt (over 24 sandstone, carbonate, and basement well studies and 6 recommendations issued and implemented).• Reservoir study carried out to determine the placement, design and expected performance of an extended reach horizontal well in the East Zeit field of Seagull-Egypt (now Ocean Energy).Additionally functioned as reservoir engineering and production technology consultant for Schlumberger’s customers. Accomplishments included:- Performed pressure transient analysis for acquired buildups for over 40 exploration and appraisal wells.- Evaluated reservoir performance including gas injection performance and optimization for two large fields.- Evaluated field performance and recommending short-to-long-term remedial actions for several small fields.- Introduced and commercialized new OH and CH reservoir monitoring tools, applications and interpretation products.- Designed and supervised workovers including additional perforations, water shut-off and gas shut off for Suco, and proposed infill wells for GPC.
