RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate the strategic, performance and business planning functions of the Company;• Leverage client relationships to drive new business opportunities;• Directs the preparation of financial reports, annual budgets, business reviews, forecasting, performance analyses, strategic planning and profitability measurements;• Contribute towards the development and recommendation of capital plan;• Developing corporate policies for the Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources, Administration, and Operations departments in line with business strategy; and• Initiate improvements in processes for enhancements of productivity, quality and services.Notable Achievements:• Developed and implemented a comprehensive strategic planning process for the business providing greater definition of targeted customers; • Developed performance measures to evaluate monthly results against key success measures included financial, marketing, customer service metrics, and channels performance;• Led project team for implementation the IFRS and related regulatory requirements; and• Successfully conducted in house training programs on IFRS, and Analysis of financial statements.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain sound implementation of the requirements of CMA rules and regulation, instructions and decisions, and Keeping pace with the changes in the business regulations;• Designing and setting the system for preparing internal reports on key risk indicators, and the company's governance;• Provide practical solutions to all business units, compliance advisory, independent opinions and reports on related compliance matters to the Board, Audit Committee, and Senior Management;• Provide proactive monitoring and oversight of the activities and businesses through a robust risk-based Compliance Monitoring Program; • Oversee business risk assumed by the company in the course of carrying on its business’s activities to a variety of financial risks;• Direct and co-ordinate the preparation of compliance manual on the appropriate implementation of compliance rules and standards;• Identify and manage real and potential impacts that regulatory issues have on new or ongoing business operations; • Ensure the process for reviewing the effectiveness of all Committees, Looking at their methods of operation and processes;• Ensure systems and controls frameworks are appropriate for the company's business and comply with applicable CMA requirements; and• Overseeing the AML/CTF Compliance responsibilities.Notable Achievements:• Supervise the preparation and development of comprehensive policies and procedures, that include all CMA regulations, instructions and practices applied to all operations and the business activities; • Establish effective corporate governance processes; and • Establish mechanisms and frameworks to ensure prevention of money-laundering and terrorism financing operations.

Ensure the interim and year-end financial statement and disclosures requirements are comply with regulatory and IFRS requirements; Ensure that the Bank’s accounting policies and procedures are in line with IFRS, and regulatory requirements; Responsible for developing, documenting and maintaining accounting policies of conventional and Islamic banking and investment products; Advice Treasury, Investments and Corporate Finance divisions on related accounting functions and policies including application of IFRS 39; andManage the review of engagement letter, management letter, and running effectively the evaluation of audit proposals for selection of External Auditors.
