Validated DFX (design for test and debug) features on the cpu in the pre-silicon (simulation) environment. RTL under test was in Verilog, implemented test environment in Specman e. Features validated included scan chain controllers, interface used on tester to load test patterns and output signatures, and various features used for debug, validation, and survivability.
