I am a board certified general surgeon with expertise and fellowship training in hand surgery. I also have had much training in reconstructive surgery. My passion, however, is in breast surgery. I completed yet another fellowship--this one in aesthetic breast oncology, also known as oncoplastic breast surgery. All in all, this means that I am a truly comprehensive breast surgeon, performing everything from minimally invasive breast biopsies, to oncologic procedures, to reconstruction of the breast, as well as cosmetic breast procedures. I am facile with treatment of all aspects of breast disease--benign and malignant. I also perform cryoablation in my office, and am the only physician to offer this service in the entire St. Louis and Metro-East area.As the first Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained breast surgeon in Southern Illinois, I am thrilled and proud to be serving the women of this area.
