I acted as gate-keeper for internal controls assessments process within Derivatives and middle-office functions by ensuring the robustness, adequacy and completeness of Key procedural controls across processes. Additionally, I took responsibility for these key controls to be regularly maintained, updated and accurately reflected in the operational risk management and reporting systems (SORT).Lastly, my position supported reconciliation Quality Assurance processes on different platforms, and identified and challenged existence of duplicate controls within the same process to reduce efforts, saving time and money.
