In my role as an Engineering Ambassador, I excelled at seamlessly transitioning between diverse responsibilities as the situation demanded. Participating actively, I attended in-person meetings aimed at enhancing staff members' understanding of the experiences of BAME students at Lancaster University. To ensure the productivity of these meetings, I took advantage of various training sessions conducted by senior staff. Effective liaison with a member of the learning development team was crucial; it allowed me to keep them informed about the attended meetings and to maintain a comprehensive record of mentoring sessions. This involved documenting insights gained and knowledge exchanged between myself and my mentee. Strong mutual communication skills, including active listening, were paramount in this endeavour.Through these meaningful conversations, my goal was to instigate positive change by deepening staff members' comprehension of the real-life experiences of ethnic minority students. This effort was expected to contribute to a more thorough understanding of and engagement with awarding gaps based on ethnicity.

During my tenure as a Warehouse Operative, I seamlessly performed a range of tasks within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. My responsibilities included picking, packing, sorting, and loading orders with precision and efficiency, often while utilizing voice picking technology through a headset. After picking items, I diligently processed and accurately placed them in their designated areas, consistently maintaining a clear and organized sortation zone. Collaboration played a crucial role in my approach, as I shared operational updates with colleagues and strategically assigned various tasks to optimize productivity and meet quotas effectively.Beyond my daily duties, I also assumed the vital responsibility of training new team members, ensuring their successful integration into the operations.
