I went to Shenzhen, China and built the prototype, launched a crowdfunding campaign and learned all about creating hardware in China. • Market research by talking to 50+ professionals from the smartphone industry• Product design using tools such as “CATIA” and “Solidworks”• Invented the smallest 3D gimbal motion stabiliser to fit inside the smartphone• Worked directly with engineers, designers and software developers to transform ideas into product• Searched for factories and negotiated the production along with pricing & timeframe• Built the Uperscope prototype with a strict timeline of 3 months• Launched an Indiegogo campaign in order to raise fundsUPDATE: After various tests we encountered technical limitations that prevented mass production.
