Executive (Research) with over 5 years of experience providing administrative support to Clinicians and Research Coordinators, interfacing with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of research projects. I possess strong multi-tasking skills, with ability to simultaneously manage several projects and schedules. Tech savvy and efficiency focused. I hold an honours degree in Life Sciences (Biomedical Sciences) from NUS. During my time in NUS, I have taken the mantle of several leadership roles, where I led various groups of people in planning various projects and activities. Academically, the National University of Singapore has provided much room for development and exposure to as many different facets of Science and Health as possible. Notably, the most enjoyable courses that I have taken were those offered by the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. Topics such as epidemiology and public health are of particular interest to me, and I am fortunate enough to have had the chance to learn more about them. I am a fervent believer that health is a personal responsibility and that we can empower individuals to take better control over their health. However, this is only if they are provided with the right information that serves to educate rather than instil fear, especially of the unknown. As such, I am keen to be part of a team which delves into the many different challenges in healthcare head on, empowering the masses and disseminating the information to the public in an accurate and comprehensive manner. My real strength is my drive and motivation. When I commit to doing something, I make sure it gets done well, and on time. This, together with my ability to understand the way things work, has allowed me to more often than not circumvent problems before they happen. In addition, I also like planning everything ahead of time, and put in place contingency measures in case things go wrong in between. Last but not least, I enjoy meeting new people and am very comfortable speaking in front of a large audience. In my free time, I enjoy gymming, trekking and baking.
